At june 23rd, the exhibition ‘The Kids are All Right‘ opened at the Rotterdam Kunsthal. The exhibtions shows a retrospective of 15 years Showroom MAMA, a Rotterdam gallery focussing on young talent. Striking detail is the fact that the Kunsthal columns by Rem Koolhaas’ OMA were replaced by typical columns of showroom MAMA. Litterally , the next generation took over the art institute (OMA > MAMA). The place was packed and even the mayor of Rotterdam stopped by to tagg his personal message, .. !
