Almost fifteen years ago, Maurer United exhibited in the Rotterdam Kunsthal (@ NPS Cultuurprijs 1998). At the same time, Showroom MAMA presented some streetart works in another exhibition hall of the Kunsthal. As one thing let to another, a long-lasting cooperation between Maurer United and MAMA developed from this coincidence (resulting into several cooperative exhibitions and initiatives). Today, the exhibition design for ‘The Kids are All Right – 15 years of MAMA‘ is being built. Maurer United designed the exhibition showing a 1-to-1 scale model of the original Showroom MAMA at the Rotterdam Kunsthal. The exhibition opens at June 23rd.
